Offering Śrīla B.G. Narasiṅgha Mahārāja’s Bhagavad Gīta at Kurukṣetra.

When Śrīla Narasiṅgha Mahārāja completed his commentary on the Bhagavad-gītā in 2011, he expressed a desire to travel to Kurukṣetra and offer that work at the very place where it all began -Jyotisara, where Śrī Kṛṣṇa originally spoke the Gītā to Arjuna. Due to time constraints, however, that desire remained unfulfilled.

On December 10th, 2025, the devotees of Rupanuga Bhajana Ashram were able to fulfil that long-cherished wish. Arriving at Kurukṣetra in the early morning, they offered three new editions of his Bhagavad-gītā – the deluxe edition, the flexibound travel edition, and the Spanish translation – at the feet of the sacred banyan tree that marks the site of the Gītā’s immortal narration, praying that this service might please their Gurudeva and be accepted by Śrī Kṛṣṇa, the original speaker of the Gītā.

The devotees also visited Brahma Sarovara, where it is said Brahmā created the universe, as well as Śrī Vyāsa Gauḍīya Maṭha – one of the first temples that Śrīla Śrīdhara Mahārāja served in as a brahmacārī in 1927.
