Śrī Guru-viraha Ṣaṭakam
(Six Verses in Separation from Śrī Guru)
pauṣe ca sita saptamyāṁ gurur-nṛsiṁha gauravaḥ |
prāgāt paraṁ padaṁ śrēṣṭhaṁ jīvāmi taṁ vinā kathaṁ || 1 ||
“On the seventh lunar day of the waxing moon in the month of Pauṣa, our spiritual master, Śrīla Bhakti Gaurava Narasiṅgha Mahārāja, entered the supreme abode. O Guru Mahārāja, how am I maintaining my life without you?”
praviṣṭe nitya-kaiṅkarya sēvārthaṁ śrī gurur mudā |
rādhā-govinda nilayaṁ jīvāmi taṁ vinā katham || 2 ||
“To attend on Śrī Śrī Rādhā-Govinda, you entered the divine realm of eternal service. How am I maintaining my life without you?”
virahāt hṛdayaṁ bhagnaṁ naṣṭaṁ jagad idaṁ mama |
sarvaṁ śūnyam-abhūdatra jīvāmi taṁ vinā katham || 3 ||
“Due to separation from you, our hearts are broken and our world has come to an end. Indeed, the entire world now seems to be empty. How am I maintaining my life without you?”
smarāmi tava sat-saṅgaṁ bhajāmi tava sad-guṇaṁ |
karomi tava śikṣaṁ ca jīvāmi tvāṁ vinā katham || 4 ||
“Now I can only remember your divine association, worship your divine qualities, and try to follow your instructions. How am I maintaining my life without you?”
kadā punarahaṁ guro-siṁha tava pāda-padme |
nitya sevāṁ karomi paśyāmi tvāṁ sadā katham || 5 ||
“O lion-like guru, when will I render eternal service unto your lotus feet? How will I constantly see you?”
girirāja-prasādena nṛsiṁha-guru-pan̄cakam |
virahāgni sutaptena racitaṁ giri-svāminā || 6 ||
“Due to the burning fire of separation and by the mercy of Śrī Girirāja Govardhana, Svāmī Giri has composed these six prayers to his guru, Śrīla Bhakti Gaurava Narasiṅgha.”
yo paṭhati bhaktyā nityaṁ pan̄cakaṁ viraha-yuktaṁ |
prāpnoti guru-gaurava nṛsiṁha kṛpā kaṭākṣam || 7 ||
“One who always chants these six prayers with devotion and a feeling of separation will certainly attain the merciful glance of Śrīla Bhakti Gaurava Narasiṅgha Mahārāja.”

This important article from 1939, published in the Gauḍīya magazine after the disappearance of Sarasvatī Ṭhākura, consists of a series of questions and answers between a householder disciple of Sarasvatī Ṭhākura and Śrīla Śrīdhara Mahārāja concerning guru-godbrother relations, succession, and guru-tattva. In the original Bengali, some sections of the article were given emphasis with bold text and we have maintained the same formatting in the English version. This article was translated into English by Swami B.V. Giri and Sanātana Dāsa. (Note: The title ‘Prabhupāda’ in this article refers to Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura)
Lost Ancient Technology
In 'Lost Ancient Technology' Kalki Dasa argues that the technology of ancient civilisations such as Vedic India may have been more advanced than is currently believed, and that this idea has been dismissed by establishment science due to biases and a belief in linear evolution under the sway of Eurocentricism.
Prema Dhāma Deva Stotram with the Narasiṅgha Sevaka Commentary – Verses 37-40
In verses 37 to 40 of Prema Dhāma Deva Stotram by Śrīla Śrīdhara Mahārāja, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu's travels to Prayāga and Vraja are described. In particular, His feelings of separation and the famous verse of Śri Mādhavendra Purīpāda are explained in detail by Swami B.V. Giri.
The Colour for Sannyāsīs
In this short article, ‘The Colour for Sannyāsīs’ from December 2010, Śrīla Narasiṅgha Mahārāja describes the original colour of the cloth used by sannyāsīs in the line of Sarasvatī Ṭhākura and how in modern times, this has become obsolete.
