In his final days, Śrīla A.C. Bhaktivedānta Swami Prabhupāda’s desire was to be taken on parikramā around Govardhāna hill in a bullock cart. Although it did not manifest due to his disciples begging him not to go due to ill health, this is still a signficant event in his manifest līlā. This desire of his Divine Grace implies a much deeper meaning. Because of this, Śrīpada B.K. Āraṇya Mahārāja was inspired to do kīrtana parikramā on his disappearance day.

Śrīpāda Āraṇya Mahārāja Accepts His First Disciple
On the morning of the 21st of September, 2023, Śrīpāda Bhakti Kiśora Āraṇya Mahārāja accepted Shivam Singh as his first disciple. Mahārāja awarded him Hari-nāma initiation and he is now known as Shivam Dāsa.
