Self-Manifested Deities

'Self-Manifested Deities' was written by Swami B.G. Narasingha on October 16th 2006. At the time of writing this essay, a phenomena of milk-drinking deities of Gaṇeśa was occurring in India. Narasingha Maharaja addresses this briefly, then gives a history of self-manifest Deities, and finally discusses the Deities established by Prabhupāda in Māyāpura and how they have been eclipsed.

In ‘The Adbhūta Mandira and Bhaktivinoda's Vision’ written in 2005, Śrīla Narasiṅgha Mahārāja gives a detailed narration of how Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura discovered the Yogapīṭha, the birthplace of Śrī Caitanya. He gives compelling arguments as to why the Yogapīṭha Temple is the actual Adbhūta Mandira predicted by Nityānanda Prabhu, as opposed to the new temple being built by ISKCON.

‘Gītā Govinda of Jayadeva Gosvāmī' was written by Śrīla Narasiṅgha Mahārāja in September 2005. This article addresses a particular group of devotees who published an English translation of Gītā Govinda, who begged the question that is was necessary to distribute this high literature to one and all.
