Our Goshala is Growing

Recently two cows and a bull calf joined the ashram goshala from Haryana and our cow Chitra had a new baby calf. The new white Haryana cow is named Gaṅgā and she has a bull calf named Bhīma. One more black Haryana cow that came is called Yamunā and Chitra’s new calf is called Dhaniṣṭhā. The head count in our goshala has been steadily growing in the last year and we are looking at building some new facilities for the cows in the ashram. Check out the photo gallery below.

We are raising funds for a developing goshala in Govardhan, where approximately 25 desi cows are being cared for on a peaceful two-acre pasture. The land includes a growing tree plantation, creating a natural and protected environment for the cows.
